Best One Step

I detail purely as a part timer but I have a few people who do not want to pony up for a full paint correction they just want a one step to get as much as possible in a day.... right now I am usually going with ZPC and an orange pad in most cases I use a PC with the edge 4 inch pads.. my question is is there something better out there? I was thinking maybe a product with diminishing abrasives alaa the wolfgang line but I am just asking for some suggestions right now. Thanks for reading the long post and helping out a part timer.

Optimum has Opti-Seal, a product many seem to like. I've had a tough time gaging how long it actually lasts. It does a decent job for what it is.

Tom, did you mean Poli-Seal by any chance?

If so, I'd agree that durability is suspect, but then again, I don't think

AIO's are known for their longevity.

Poli-Seal's a good product by all other accounts, though.

i like finish kare 215 it there aio.

tom i think its poli-seal is the optimum aio.

yea, im pretty sure he meant opti seal. i was goign to say something, but im not about to call a pro out on jack squat lol. i've learned a lot from tom.p

LOL. Sorry, guys, if I didn't attach the correct name to the Optimum AIO. I've got it sitting in the basement, didn't really feel like going down to see the name. Hey, at least I was close!

Are you looking for an AIO or a 1 step? For AIO I would go with D151. A good one step with the pc is m205 with a white or orange pad depending on the hardness of the paint.

Meg's 205 if you know how to use it, Menz Power finish for harder paints and I use a combo of 25%/75% of 106FA/PO85RD for soft paints. Works very well.

Yeah I am looking for a one step correction, best bang for the buck for customers who do not want to pay for a full correction but do want some swirl removal. Thanks for the recomendations, keep them coming

For me it would depend on the condition and the hardness of the paint. If the paint is pretty swirled and/or hard paint, I propbably would reach for D151 on white or possibly even orange due to its pretty good cutting ability. For paint that is in better shape and/or is softer, I may use a milder product like Poli-Seal, Werkstat Prime Strong or ZAIO because the look afterwards would probalby be a little better than with D151.

I have used OP, SIP, and 105 for 1 step. OP works good but I have favored SIP and white pad and 105 and orange pad lately. They both work great but it depends on the hardness/softness of the paint. I wax the car after I correct though, so if you are looking for a 1 step polish and seal I don't know about these. If you are looking for a 1 step polish then they work great.

This is with the Flex DA obviously.
