Best MF for QD?

I currently am using the Viking drying towel. I found that it is pretty plush on the soft side. I dont use the side that has less knap because I am afraid of catching a bit of grime or something and scratching the surface. I also use them to remove waxes and polishes.

They don't sell that anymore. why is it that all the good ones are discontinued? lol:nixweiss

I believe the ones at Excel Detail were discontinued because Patrick found better towels for the same price.

Anyway, I bought 10 of them for $1.49 each and they are great.

I use Costco :up And I did compare with Adam's and its almost the same. Costco 15.00 for 20? IDK, you do the math :D

I have used the Costco towels for about a year now and the Adams towels about 4-5 months and I must say that comparing the two in the same breath is just not right. The Adams towels just blow the Costco towels to the moon with softness, absorbency and how well they come clean in the wash. While the softness of the Costco towels hasn't caused me any problems they are *very* hit and miss for that same softness. The Adams towels maintain their softness wash after wash.

IDK, have you ever boil your Adam's MF? I watching his DVD, man....I dont know if my wife would allow me to do that :nixweiss

I have kick her out of the house or ask her go out with her friends or something like that.... in-order for me to boil my AMF

So far there has been no need to. They come clean like new in the wash. I may boil a few of the Costco towels and see what happens. Tomorrow sounds good.

BTW the autozones near me carry the Vikings.... or at least they do till i roll in and buy them all up :-D

Might wana check shmucks too, I think i bought my first viking mf there actually.....

haven't had any experience buying/using from this business, but they do offer a money back guarantee if your not completely satisfied (click on refund/private policy). check it out ----> www.microfibertech.com

Prices are not too bad, but not sure of quality from a pic. Maybe someone should take one for the team.

Been there, done that. Microfiber Tech is the origin, of perhaps the better known (in Autopia circles), AutoFiber.com. Ian was once one of Autopia's sponsoring vendors. I've purchased towels from both entities. Good products, good service, etc. etc. etc.

I'm happy with my WCD towels - http://www.winnerscircledetailingproducts.com/candypress/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=108 - I normally use a QD after washing if I won't be applying a new coat of wax.

For using S&W when the car is a little dirtier, I like to use the WW towels.. Have some from Autopia's discontinued purple towels, WCD, and JT International - like them all.

Also have a couple towels from Poorboy's that I have not tried, but they feel pretty nice. Heh, I forget which ones I have now.
