Best MF and Waffle Towels you can get locally

Viking towels are very good but not as good as PakShak or AutoGeek or Poorboys Deluxe towels in my experience.

You must not have used the same Viking towels that some of us have used because they are just as every bit as good as the boutique brands. These are the green Viking QD towels from Kmart, and the gold Mother's brand QD towel. Both made in Korea and imported by the same company. The only difference between the Viking and Mothers towel is the color, and the size and in that respect, the Mothers brand has the upper hand because it's bigger and costs the same.

Meguiar's are the only thing that touch my paint. I have the cheap stuff for windows and such. Megs Supreme Shine MF never fall apart on me, and man do they work well. I just drop by the local Kragen down the street and pick up a 3 pack for $7. Damn good deal in my book for that type of quality.

I use the Meguiar's Supreme Shine as well and love them. The Kragen near me sells them for $9.95 for the pack of three. You get a good deal at $7.

For door jambs, wheels and engine bay, I use MF from Target.

I've tried them but I don't find them as soft or as plush. But if you are happy with them that's fine by me.

well said... :up

has anyone used the mf from costco? I've been using the boutique ones as well as the microtex ones but i'm a little hesitant in using the costco ones. I'm wanting to remove waxes/polishes and do not want to mark up the paint finish....i work on a lot of dark and black cars.

my old ones are starting to wear a bit so i'm lookin for replacements.

As others have said - the Viking MFs are on a par with the other boutique brand MFs like Cobra, PakShak, etc.

The Vroom premium MFs are a good workhorse towel that I use for everything except paint and glass - like interiors, door jamb drying and cleaning, wheel drying and cleaning, etc.
