Hi:

Was just wondering if the best combo for black cars to look deep, dark, and wet is still AIO followed by RMG followed by Souveran?

Try Poorboy's Black Hole for a glaze, it's like good old Liquid Ebony!:2thumbs:

For less money and same results you can also use Poorboy's Red wax or if they are out of it, blue wax. Both work well on black and are less expensive than Souveran. I did a side-by-side between both and you could not tell.

Wow Liquid Ebony- There's a good thread topic. That stuff was awesome. I was so upset when the company closed down. I think it was made in NY.

LE was unlike any product I have ever used. The chemical composition was like a liquid solid.

all i get is black.

my vote is PO85rd/JetSeal109/Dodo Juice Purple Haze. never let me down

sounds like a promising combo. i personally don't like souveran on black. Just doesn't do it for me. On red however....WOW

on black: supernatural, purple haze, or lusso oro

On Black Metallic. RMG, followed by P21s 100% was one of the first WOW looks for me. Souveran looks better on a regular black car. imo

You can put in on a metallic paint, but in my experience it muted the flake. It still looked good however.

The products I now have on my black metallic, is pro polish, EZ Creme glaze, jetseal109, topped off with Swissvax Concorso. I used foam applicators, and let the car sit in the sun for 3hrs per Swissvax's recommendation.

Go with Fuzion if you have the money if you don't Save up borrow steal sell your blood, collect cans beg or whatever looks great on black

I have never used a glaze before but now that I have a black car, I'm considering it. How long do glazes last? Do they just wash off after a couple washes, or does sealing them in with an LSP make them last until your next big detail? Thanks!

By the way, I used Souveran on my non-metallic black car and was drooling over it. I have never tried the Poorboy's Red Wax, but I'll keep it in mind when I run out of Souveran.

Glaze does not last long at all, that's why you have to top it with a wax or you'll wash off a glase in no time. It's used to hide minor and I do mean minor defects in paint (scratches). Black Hole will not only fill and mask any light defects but adds a nice base for wax.

If you did Black Hole and Souveran, you're eyes will not believe how wet and deep it looks.

Since you have Souveran, just get the Black Hole!:xyxthumbs

Here is a pic I found on here of a black car with souveran...

The first two words that actually came in my head were... HOLY SH*T!

Danse can go over or under anything. RMG can only go under a wax, sealants will not adhere/bond to it.

Yeah, so you could do the following, in order:

Cleaner - Klasse AIO

Glaze - Danase Wet Glaze

Sealant - Wolfgang 3.0

Glaze - Red Moose Glaze

Wax - Pinnacle Souveran

:2thumbs:

If you used this combo in that order, RMG would wipe out everything you have put on.

I could be wrong, but since RMG is oil based, it's not recommended underneath sealants.

Products such as Danase Wet Glaze, and EZ Creme glaze supposedly work well under any sealant I do believe.

I've use EZ Creme glaze under both Wolfgang DGPS 3.0, and Jetseal109 without any problems.

I just found this post.

A fellow member Anzafin, tried to use RMG under Zaino, and he said it left lots and lots of oily residues/lsp holograms all over the car.

Yes, I knew you could not use RMG under a sealant, but never heard you could not use it over one....

That was the reasoning behind putting the DWG under the Wolfgang 3.0 and the RMG over it...
