Best Fabric Protector for microfiber/suede seats?

I would like to spray something onto the seats of a 2006 Civic. The seats are a unique type of cloth/microfiber/suede combo (factory). Does anyone have any suggestions on the best product to prevent water and dirt stains?
 
I've tried scotchguard on microsuede and it just seems to sit on top of the stuff, unlike regular fabric.
