Best Car Wash Shampoo

GSRstilez- I remember your post and that's why I've kept the PB's in mind. I use about that same dilution with the Griot's also, though I mix up the stuff for the foamgun by eye.

So far I'm leaning towards just sticking with the Griot's despite the price increase, if only for the familiarity factor (e.g., I know how the foamgun mix looks when it's "right"). And I honestly am *completely* satisfied with it, nothing I'd change except, heh heh, the price. But I am also paying attention to what people post about other washes and keeping an open mind.

I'm currently have three different shampoo's in my kit, these being:

1. AG Shampoo+Conditioner

2. CK Carwash

3. Meg's Gold Class

Out of the three, I really like using the Gold Class, makes washing quite enjoyable (very slick) and smells good to ;)

Having said that, AutoGlym Shampoo was my product of choice up until October 2004, when I found Autopia :)

Yeah, in terms of NXT vs. EO Wet, I give the nod to NXT but if NXT were out and only EO available I sure wouldn't be overly disappointed.

I like P21S (my favorite), NXT Wash, Pinnacle Bodywork, Zaino Z-7 (something with bite!), and 1Z Exclusiv (Perls if you use sealants).

Try Duragloss or Eagle One Wet for a bargain soap that is effective.

I find the Zymol and Gold Class to be a bit over-rated. Still testing the Super Slick & Suds out...

Lee,

Let me know what you think of the Super Slick & Suds. It is on my list of products to try. Still trying to find a wash that I want to stick with (Pinnacle, maybe).

I started with some Turtle Wax wash + wax which is now being used exclusively for cleaning my wheels. I then got Mother's Gold which smelled great. Then I couldn't resist and got the Megs NXT wash which totally beats the other too. Walmart has it as well as PEP boys.

Keep that paint lookin great and get a good sealant. Can't go wrong with Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection (4* UPP) or Klasse All In One/Sealant Glaze

"Why is this?"

Because it works-good cleaning & finish. I like all the 1Z products, even though I question some of their business methods with vendors...

Many European car wash manufacturers take the view that rinsing the surface, more than washing alone ensures cleaning efficiency, so the washing process is more efficient using a cleaning agent that contains an anionic (very low foaming agent) than one that produces lots of suds

Do you think the Autoglym requires a different technique compared with foaming shampoos

I've got a few that I work with. No particular

favorites. More along the lines of what work

I need to do:

GlipTone Wash n Glo and Eagle One during the summer for

regular washes.

FK1 for decon washes

QEW during winter and when I need to work quickly during

summer months.
