Best car shipping company?

I'm on the east coast and planning on shipping my car to the west coast. A good 3K miles.

I read so many horror stories that I'm actually considering driving it there myself!

You could also rent a small truck and trailer and tow it across the country. If I had the time, that is what I would do. You can get a one way airline ticket pretty much across the country for around $300 if you plan a few days in advance for your route back home.

Personally I think it would be fun and a great way to see our nation! It might not end up any cheaper than having it transported professionally, but you'll know it was safe and sound the entire time.

Small truck and trailer will add up to 2K, excluding the gas which will be another 500.

That's pushing it too much!

Driving it yourself is fast, cheap, safe, and headache-free! As for your way back, well, you don't have to go back ;) you just sit with your car forever :D
