Best bang for the bucks nuba wax. What is it?

granted 90% of the look comes from prep, but these are some waxes that i like to recommend to people so they can feel special about a boutique wax and are actually worth the money they ask.

Agreed. Assuming you are prepping the paint correctly, strictly bang for your buck should be Collinite (I personally lean towards 476s, but 845 is probably good as well). Superior durability and beading, with a great look to boot. Near impossible to beat for the price.

Bang for buck anything over $40 is too much, imo. There are so many good >$40 waxes, particularly Collinite 476/845/915, Megs 16, S100, Clearkote CMW...
