Wow thanks for posting that Phil! I just read it the other night.



I don't have 11 years of experience, arghhhh... I wish. I did work for a detail shop in highschool, 11 years ago (easy to get wrong).



Everybody on that list absolutely deserves it, and so do MANY more.

What does it say about Superior Shine??



The interviewer asked me for some detailing tips to keep his/her car beautiful. My tip was -" Hire a pro detailer to do it then go to the beach!"



I got a feeling they were not too happy about that. Surprised I made the magazine.

Anyone else notice how they made that mistake with Meg's clay? I think it's bad as it sort of says AW has no clue about detailing... damn it the 9 on there are screwed! :D

IIRC that pic showing the Griot's stuff was mislabeled too. (Right under the word "ESSENTIALS")



Dunno if AW just doesn't know from copy-editing or detailing or what :nixweiss But when was the last time you read an article in a mainstream publication that *was* accurate about detailing ;)

This month's Classic Motorsports. Has a really nice article on detailing featuring Tim McNair of Grand Prix Concours Preparation. Mentions the Makita rotary, Ultimate Detailing Machine (PC version), Meguiars and Presta products.
 
ScottWax- Ah, OK. I'll have to see if the local Borders has that. Nice that somebody got an article *right* on the subject.

I was quite suprised. I usually cry when I read detailing advice in car magazines. :chuckle:
