Bella Macchina 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS

Super work guys! Nothing short of wow as usual!

The new P21 looks awesome on red!

Question - when you clean your pads from a SS detail, does the paint transfer wash out?

Excellent job Todd!

It takes lots of talent and paint knowledge to work on older paint like that. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Ryan, comming from the polishing master that means a lot. Hopefully I can get you down here to raise the bar even further!

The paint absolutely pops. Amazing work.

Thanks!!!

I love that car and you made it look incredible.

How do you handle the lower black panels? I imagine you use a different process and/or products than what you use on the red paint.

I previously polished the lower panels with ZAIO and PC. AIO's are very good for flat paint as they clean it and seal it, and add only a light sheen.

I believe the word you where looking for was Bellisimo, but I'll forgive you. Give me a call today Pat if you have the time!

Looks great, as usual. Are you becoming more of a wax fan than a sealant fan these days? I've seen you using that P21S 100 percent on a couple threads now and I was wondering if it's customer request or if you're just like me and got a new product that you're just trying to get a feel for. Reguardless, all the details you post always look great. I do my best to view them all, but I dont post on every one because I run out of stuff to say.

I appericate waxes. My goal is to give my client's what they want and in Florida a sealant makes sense, and IMO, Zaino is the best sealant. I also have clients who ask me to try something different or prefer 'nuba's so I do my best to make each client happy. Thanks for the compliments :D

Thanks.... lol. I don't know about the best in the world, but I definetly have been very lucky to have clients who appericate good work.

Nothings better than gleaming single stage Ferrari red!

How many miles are on the car?

Thanks Rick! I think it has about 35K or so... (maybe a little more).

Thanks kaval!

The paint will rinse out for the most part, but there will be light staining...

Eccelente! Lavoro ottimo!!! :heelclick

Il lavoro che ha fatto sulla macchina è valso bene il risultato. :waxing:

Probably should but I'm just a TA in the class so I'm basically just there to take attendance BTW, I'll be down in Orlando for a couple of days the 2nd week of March. If you wanna grab a drink let me know.

I think Pats300ZX is going to be in town, we will all have to get a drink (before I put you guys to work!).

A co-worker helped me with a little Italiano to post an appropriate comment about your efforts on the "Modena Maccchina". I admit that I do not speak the language. :o

I know enough German to talk to the service people at the dealership, but that's that's the extent of my global vocabulary.

Haha, I'll actually be doing a few cars in the St. Augustine/Jacksonville area. Last time around I did my friend's mom's Prius and the doctors at the Mayo Clinic saw it and want me to do some work. Can't argue with a free vacation even if it does cost me a day or two of work ya know?

Great work..I love 328's..reminds me of my childhood and the start of my car infactuation.

Do you have any pics of the engine?

Nice work. Interesting, I have never seen a 328 in full two-tone. I thought it was a BB512 from a quick glance.

I think the two tone looks better on the 3x8's as compared most of the boxer's. Thanks for the compliments!

Keep trying :spot

This is my car. I've had Todd detailing it for about a year now, it always looks amazing when he's done with it. :goodjob :goodjob :goodjob Of course, he's got Bryan doing the real work as I see from the video! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The car is a 1986 Ferrari 328. Paint is original, the satin black at the bottom is factory Boxer trim. Only 12 328's came over that way from the factory, it's a rare paint scheme.

As Todd said I had a recent trip to the shop where they weren't too careful and so the car needed to be resanded again. Unfortunately I have to send the car back to the shop for an adjustment, hopefully they will be careful.

I am going to have the interior redone in a couple of months, after that Todd ought to be able to show off some nice pics of the inside. It's not bad now but I am seeking perfection. In the future there is a 550/575/TR in the cards, I've got the 12 cylinder bug now.

These guys are the best and I am proud to show off their work. If anybody needs a concours-level detail I highly recommend Todd and Bryan!

Todd or Brian - what was the highest speed setting Brian used in the video clip? And was it 106FF (sorry if I missed it previously mentioned).

Thanks.

Nice work Todd. How do you like the 100% P21S? Been thinking of trying it. Does it look as good as Souveran in person? Is it decently durable for a carnauba?

Hi Todd :

Like always your work is out of this world :woot: :woot: . It was very nice meeting you last week in Orlando . You are one of the most talented detailers out there and a terrific person . Thanks for the Zaino products :thx . I have not use them yet but looking forward to the Zaino line .

You are more than welcome to come to my house here in Chile . I hope to see around here you soon .

Cheers , Jean Paul

PS : I played a few days ago with the Makita BO6040 and it is a really nice tool .
