Before/After pics 4* Gloss Enhancer

The 4* U.G.E. really appears to have darkened my paint. The first picture was after I washed/dried it. The second is about 45 minutes later after eating lunch and QDing the car.

The third is also after QDing. I love the liquid hood look! :D

BTW, this is the first time I've used a QD and not had it make the paint any slicker. But then again the paint is covered in UPP so it can't really get any slicker :xyxthumbs

I don't see any difference, it looks shiney in all photo's. If you look at the maxima sign on the truck the first photo is a little blurry. I would have like to seen your hood shots before and after. I do like that gloss enhancer for QD and cleaning up, but I think it doesn't add much shine above what sealant you use. I use that GH with a lot of sealants, Zaino, klasse and Glare and it seams to be versatile with all of them as far as cleaning goes.

The hood looked pretty much the same before the QD. The hood just looks that wet from the whole process of detailing it a couple weeks ago.

I still see a definite difference in the shade of white between the two pics though.

Your car always looks good. ;)

No matter what LSP you use, after a week, it isn't at 100% of what it was initially, so even if it is at 98%, the QD will bring it right back to 100% again. The QD isn't really improving the appearnce as much as it is restoring it. :)

That's what I like to hear. :wavey

I was really surprised that there was actually a visible difference though. I had never seen that before from a QD.

Does it look like a different shade of white to you Scott?

It is hard to say since the lighting is somewhat different between the pics. I do know it shines like mad.

Quikshine will also do that; make a noticable improvement.

That's the thing. The lighting really isn't very different. The two pics were taken less than an hour apart, and the skies were clear the whole day. The car is in the exact same spot, and I tried to get in the exact same spot for both pics.

You can see that the sun had moved a little, evident by the position of the shade against the house.

MazdaGuy - Yes, I love the 95-03 Maximas too. My next car will be a Max of the 00-03 body style, a Mazdaspeed Protege, or a blue Mazda 6S 5spd.

I'm a fan of the 4-door sports car if you can't tell. :)

Wow, that's a pretty noticeable difference for a QD spray!

I just recently got my first bottle of UGE. I think it's more of a wax booster than a QD. The directions say it should be applied over a clean surface and it seams to have more wax than any other QD I've used.
