Beer Time

Today a Firestone 10, this is an awesome brew, highly recommended, 12% ABV, tasty as hell. Also the usual grilling, CHEERS!

A bunch of new beers in the past several days:

- Hair of the Dog Blue Dot: A pretty good IPA, I'd definitely drink it again.

- Dogfish Head Burton Baton: This was interesting... the label says it's an Imperial IPA, but it drinks much more like a Barleywine. Their website says: "A blend of oak-aged English strong ale and our 90 Minute I.P.A." I liked it, but it was not at all what i expected.

- Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial IPA: This was actually not one of my favorites, I like their Moylander Double IPA better.

- Boulder Mojo Rising Double IPA: Definitely not one of my favorites, but this shouldn't surprise me as the regular Mojo IPA isn't one of my favorite IPA's.

Nice choices. I still have 2 bottles of the Blue Dot, I loved the Burton Baton, I loved the Hopsickle, never had the Mojo DIPA, the Mojo IPA is ok.

Tonight a Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, very tasty, you could drink quite a few of these, but watch out it is 9.2% ABV, but you would not know it, alcohol hidden very well indeed, highly recommended.

I've had a few Flying Dog brews and they were pretty good, I'll have to keep an eye out for this one.

Last night was a Pelican Brewery India Pelican Ale for me. Hadn't had this one before, thought it was pretty good.

I had one of those awhile back, also enjoyed. Pelican earlier this year put out a few special brew's, a Saison, Grand Gru, Bridal Ale I have the Grand Cru, and Bridal Ale, will get to them in the next few months.

Today the usual grilling and a very nice Grand Teton Special Reserve brew, Double IPA, very tasty, excellent balance of malts/hops. Too bad it is hard to find.
