Beer Time

Happy Sunday,

Today a Russian River Depuration, grilling some Steak, Pork Chorizo, and some Potatoe Salad. Should have a Dogfish Head 60 min. IPA later on as well.

Well, Well, Well had the Stone Triple Dry Hopped Ruination Double IPA this afternoon, let me tell you, this probably was the hoppiest brew I've ever had to date, one hop bomb for sure, if you live in the San Diego area, make your way over to the Stone brewpub for a glass, you will not regret it one bit, Cheers!

I will definitely have to stop by and try that next time I'm down there. That sounds fantastic. For me it was a couple of Bridgeport ESB's tonight.

Tonight a Weyerbacher Decadence, clocks in at 13% ABV, it's an American Strong Ale. Nice brew, sweet/malty, slightly spicy, lots of caramel. Nice warming effect going down. I really enjoy the Weyerbacher brew's, got to get me some more in the line.

Finally they put my favorite brew back on the shelf (it is seasonal). Skinny Dip! I am good until about the end of September. For some reason I usually call it Skinny Puppy by mistake (a band name).

Is this from New Belgium?

Today was a new brew for me, Alesmith IPA. This was *excellent*. Very hoppy, but a very well balanced flavor. I was surprised, actually, at the amount of hops in this since it's their regular IPA, and not a Double IPA (I have one of their Yule Smith Double IPA's in the fridge, can't wait to try that). :up :up

Tonight a bomber of Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial Ale, it's a DIPA, very very hoppy and delicious as all hell.

Just reading back through the thread looking for ideas of beers to try. I've been seeing this one on the shelf in the store, but haven't picked it up yet. I'll have to give it a shot.

AleSmith's IPA is really nice, one of my favorite's, when I can get it. Is the YuleSmith the Winter or Summer release? Just curious, I've had both and there excellent brew's.

Summer release... I have actually not had either, summer or winter, I'm looking forward to cracking that one open.

I know, I know, I have no excuse.

Tonight a Middle Ages Druid Fluid, this sucker is very tasty, you could drink quite a few of these (bomber's), but it's 9.5% ABV, but the alcohol is hidden very well, it's a barleywine, but you would not know it.

Tonight so far a Weyerbacher Eleven, it's a DIPA clocking in at 11.7% ABV, very tasty, nice balance between malts and hops, ABV hidden very very well.
