billscamaros said:hey john styrnol .... while drinking that snow goose ale, i spent some time lurking on the backpacker.com forums. one of the threads that i read through took me to the wildernessutah.com site. you live in a beautiful state, my friend. west virginia and virginia are beautiful also .... just in different degrees.
take care and enjoy the new year.
Yeh I couldn't believe it, especially after drinking that and other good beers I seriously don't know how people can drink Coors, Budweiser etc blechhhh, Bud Ice had to be the worst, what a disgusting after taste. That Pale Ale was top notch, I searched online and it got nothing but excellent reviews. Saw something that said it was the beer that kinda started the whole boom in micro-brews.billscamaros said:surfer - i agree. i recall that the sierra nevada pale ale was the number one beer in a runner's world review a couple of years ago ..... that's when i first tried it. sierra nevada pale ale is one of my mainstays, along with dominion brewery ale. i notice that the local grocery store also stocks the sierra nevada porter and maybe a stout ? the porter is pretty good also.
john - i followed your home page link some time ago. i'll check it out again.
