Beer Time

Wasatch

I thought I would start another thread for this long weekend of grilling, beer drinking, and having fun. Well, tonight I'm having a Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA, it clocks in at 7% ABV, has a sweet/bitter flavor with a nice bite in the finish. Scents of hops, sweet malts, and citrus. I will be having a Bear Republic weekend, lol Anyone else enjoying a nice brew this long weekend?

I've got a mixed case of 24 coming this week with no idea what it will contain.

Do you belong to a Beer Club? Definitely post what you get, I'm very interested in knowing.

Yes, we try to do a group buy several times a year but this is going to be our first summer beer buy.

I should have the list of beers when I return to work on Tuesday.

Have not had that one yet. I've never had a SA that I have not liked. Very tasty brews.

I'm not much of a microbrew guy, but one that I'd highly reccomend if you can get your hands on it is Shipyard Summer Ale. Theyre mostly a Maine brewery, but I've gotten their beers down in Florida before so you might get lucky.

On my way to the track (as in Indy) in a few minutes...so of course I have my Foster's Oil Cans. 25 ounces, so you have to drink them fast on a warm day.:)

I know it's technically 'The Official Beer of F1', but I figure it works for other open-wheel racing as well.

gmblack3a,

Very nice, thank you, lol Not sure if you know, but SA in early June will be coming out with the Patriot Collection (Traditional Ginger Honey Ale, James Madison Dark Wheat Ale, George Washington Porter and 1790 Root Beer Brew), I sure hope they make it over to UT.

Have a great day at the track, enjoy the brew's.

Yes, love the Rogue brew's. I have a couple of the Ceramics (Morimoto, I2PA). For cool looking bottles get some Stone Brewery offerings, by the way the beer is awesome as well, LOL

Well, today I'm having a BR Hop Rod Rye, it's an IPA, 8% ABV, 22oz. Bomber. This IPA is on the maltier side then the typical hoppy stuff, it's spicy, citrusy, and a nice sweetness to it. A truly awesome IPA, I'm glad I have another left, lol

Duvel again, and they finally got me the proper Duvel glasses, free too.

mmm

I tried posting pics of my wedding, where we had Chimay and other great beers on tap at the most incredible restaurant in Vegas. Unfortunately the pics are too large, im not experienced in shrinking the images down?

Any advice, I think I told John he could see my Bride or the Taps, I bet he wants to see the taps.....

Don't know about shrinking the pics, maybe someone else can chime in. I want to see both, LOL Glad to hear you had some good brew's at your wedding, not the typical crap going around.
