Beer Time

Merry Christmas

Today a awesome brew for a special day. Brouwerij St. Bernardus NV, St. Bernardus Abt 12 (60th Anniversary "Special Edition"), a true Belgium brew, highly recommended.

I got to sample a Sleeman Ale and Long Trail IPA today ( Christmas part 2 with my side of the family!)

Tonight a Mountaineer Brewing Stout, tasty, but what this gives me is 47 states that I've had a brew from. Mississippi is on it's way, the two toughest are South/North Dakota.

Another beer run

Rogue - Dry Hopped St Rogue Red Ale

Rogue - Santa's Private Reserve

Rogue - Dead Guy Ale

Great Divide - Yetti

Stoudts - Fat Dog

Full Sail -Amber

Dogfish Head - Chicory Stout

Terrapin Beer Co - Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout

Penn Brewery - St Nikolaus Bock Beer

Bells - Two Hearted Ale (love Bells' brews)

Lagunitas Brewing - Brown Shugga'

Brasserie Dubuisson Frères - Scaldis Noel Belgian Special Ale

Nice haul, enjoy. Cheers!

Great Divide - Yetti Imperial Stout, excellent brew, I want to find the Oak-Aged version to try.

Dogfish Head - Chicory Stout, decent but nothing special, but I had after the Yetti so my taste might have been off.

Both Yeti's are tasty, I would take the Oaked over it though. I just picked up a bottle a few weeks ago.

I also did not really care for the DFH Chicory Stout, if you can try the Indian Brown Ale, that one is pretty tasty.

Terrapin - Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout, nice hidden gem, definitely strong coffee/chocolate flavor, I really like this brew. Clocks in over 8% but hidden well.

Had a few "Black and Blues*" watching the Patriots beat the Giants 38-35 for the perfect season!

A Black and Blue is Guinness Draught layered over Wachusett Brewing's Blueberry Ale... tasty! :2thumbs:

Having a Rogue - Santas Private Reserve Ale, hoppy and smooth, but seems more like a nice ale instead of a special winter brew. For some reason every time I have a Rogue I have to grab a bag of Dove chocolate Almonds lol.
