Been using Zaino Z7 wash, but looking for something better

When I did my shampoo comparison a few moths ago, my first test was actually rubbing each shampoo all over my hands just to see how it felt and the DP had a thicker consistency than any of the others. This feature seems to carry over into the foaming arena. The foam is simply much thicker than any of the other washes I tried. It really is more like cotton candy than soap suds. In fact, it is so thick that it actually rolls around the surface like a wave of suds and if there's a wind blowing while I'm spraying my foam gun, it actually forms bubbles that start blowing into the neighbors yard. No other shampoo I have ever used has done this. I quickly sent all the other shampoos back to Autogeek and bought a gallon of DP Extreme Foam. Rydawg, if you want, I will send you a sample. Ya'll ain't using Dawn or Palmolive? Sorry - long day. I personally like Duragloss but that FK stuff ain't bad.

I wonder how DP Xtreme Foam differs from DP Auto Bath Shampoo? They probably are the same thing but DP Xtreme has a foaming agent in it to produce better foaming.



When you wash with your foam gun, do you foam a car then follow up with a bucket wash or just foam and rinse?
 
I fill a 5 gallon bucket with two grit guards, a sheepskin mitt and clean water. (no soap) Then I wring out the excess water and spray the mitt with my foam gun inside and out. Next I foam up the area I'm going to wash starting on the roof and work down. After a few panels, I rinse my mitt in the bucket and then re-foam it again. The only purpose my bucket serves is to remove particles from my mitt while the lubricity for the wash comes exclusively from the foam gun. In fact, there is so much foam produced by the gun itself that filling the bucket with soapy water would be a waste of shampoo.
