Been Busy...5 New Details of all sorts (56k, go make a cocktail)

Awesome pics Sean and beautiful work. Still hope you can make down my way one of this days. Would love to see your magic on my 350Z. :spot :spot

really good sean!

I must get myself a rotary and some Menzerna stuff.

Why so much EX? Or do you just chop and change between each product?

Kenny: Sticker where?

Maybe he's looking at the rear windshield? There's a reflection of the bus that kinda looks like a sticker.

Great job on all those Sean! I love that first WRX 3/4 shot!

Damn, that Mustang looks like a work out. Nice job on all of them!

Any pics of the inside of the GGW bus that you care to share ? :)

Idz: Some manufacturers throw in new prototypes with my orders, others are from members being generous, but most of em I bought.

JJ: Gotta use it up before I buy the EX+ :).

Thanks everyone :).

Wow! You have been busy!

I take it the folded towel method for hand polishing worked out well for you? I had to polish out a GTI and Tiburon a few weeks back by hand, no power available. I'd forgotten what a bear it can be.

All cars look great but the 5.0 is definitely the best before and after example of your great work. :)

...I know...like 3 weeks later and I'm finally posting...

Haven't been on here for sooo long and here's my first post after lurking... :cooleek:

A big thanks to Sean for the detail....great work....awesome job!! :bow

Finally got those swirls out. No way I would've been able to do it by hand. Did you ever hear from those two guys with the mercedes?

Gonna hit you up soon after this rain stops. :bawling:

Hey buddy,

Nope, never heard back. I will give them a call tomorrow as I will have some time. I have to take care of those scratches for ya :).

I saw the WRX again today for a mishap that happened the day after detailing. A piece of road debris kicked up and hit the side of his car. He touched it up and I wetsanded/compounded/polished/sealed it for him, along with a wash, OCW, and some dressing of sorts.

The beading was amazing from the Duragloss #111 Sealant. It was like I put it on yesterday. The slickness was down a little bit to the touch but with the wash mitt it was top notch. Chris also noted that "nothing sticks to it". He said it stays very clean. First shot is after the wash and rinse and the second is all done.

Sean,

I always look forward to reading your 'new detail' threads as you are always guaranteed some seriously stunning detailed cars......time after time.

Your skills with a rotary, together with the narrative and photographic elements are simply brilliant :2thumbs: :waxing:
