It was *really* tough! What's worse is that he stopped by two days ago--someone backed into it and I have redo the job! :hairpull I really don't mind though--it was a unique challenge. :D

Oh, man! Glad you have an upbeat attitude about it.

The M105 FLEX combo has been amazing for me/us...

Yeah, I just got both myself and.. *WOW*

I still like the product, but plan on switching to FPII after my last 10oz is gone. :D Honestly, I hope that M205 will put an end to all of it--locally available, cheaper, etc. I can't see why Meguiars couldn't do it, 105 finishes so well that a final polish based upon the same technology just has to be good...

Hmmm, I'd expect the FPII to be so much milder as to not be interchangeable with the 106FF, not that I'd really know

What's M205?!? Sounds like there's another new-tech Meg's product out there that I'm not familiar with

Thanks for sharing the deatails - awesome work! Also, I liked:

"The M105 FLEX combo has been amazing for me/us. Sure it takes a little longer, but no messy cleanup and very little taping--not to mention some of the inherent dangers of using a rotary are all but gone. I am not saying that the rotary isn't the tool of choice when you are dealing with serious paint correction, but the flex is certainly a tool that has a place in our arsenal. I can pretty much turn anyone loose on the flex with a little training and they can acheive fantastic results without the danger of burning paint(not that it can't happen with the flex, but..).

I thought the same thing so I sold my makita and bought a Flex. The details I do are all daily drivers and the owners aren't looking for 100% perfection and they sure AIN"T willing to pay for it! The past few details I've done with the Flex have been very productive and a lot less stressful.

The FPII has a little less cut, but most of the time it works just fine for what we are doing--refining the finish and clening some micromarring.

The M205 is supposed to be based upon the same "micro-abrasive technology." It's basically M105 with about 1/3 of the cut the from what I can understand--a true finishing polish from meguiars. I really can't wait to get my hands on some!

Im just floored with your work. :goodjob

Just one question, why did you have to sue ONR, i thought the product was a relatively decent company. :buffing:

This BMW needed full correction inside and out—sorry no befores, but it was *hammered*!

We used 105/rotary wool

SIP rotary green pad/1500

FPII G110 spped 6/LC LP white

M21

We sued ONR in between steps

That clear bra work on the Porsche was unbelievable! The paint correction was just your normal :p

Accumulator, the M205 is a 2009 product that was announced at SEMA so presumably it will be out end of January like usual.
