Be honest, what movies make you cry

Simon Birch....Everyone should see this movie :)

Quote from the movie:

"What I want to do and what I do are two separate things. If we all went around doing what we wanted all the time, there'd be chaos."

I got that infamous lump in the throat when Mel Gibson in "We were Soldiers" gave that speech at the football field in front of the soldiers right before going into battle.

talk about a run on sentence...........

Homeward Bound

Million Dollar Baby

Extreme Home Makeover

Overhaulin' (especially when they got Foose)

I know there are more that strike an emotion, just have to think...

here are 2 movies that come to mind

MY LIFE w/ michael keaton and nicole kidman...no matter how many times i watch it, the final scene with the circus always makes my eyes get all watery

STORY OF US w/ bruce willis...but can't remember a specific scene

The Patriot. When the little girl (who has never spoken to her Dad, played by Mel Gibson) starts running after him as he heads back out, crying and telling him she'll talk if he stays.

These two give me the lump in the throat feeling as well. One in particular showing of Overhaulin' had the guys dad at the end crying with him... yeah that got me ;)

It's been a long time since I've seen a sad movie, lately all I watch is comical movies.

The Passion of the Christ had my eyes watery.

My Life had my throat lumpy.

Braveheart when William Wallace sees his dead wife walking in the crowd choked me up the first time I saw it.

I understand that feeling very well; but a bunch of grown men discussing what makes them cry - what the - :nixweiss ? Odd times we live in, I'd say. :nervous:

Well, maybe not cry, but, yes, that Overhaulin' when they tricked Chip, The Patriot when the little girl finally runs to her Dad and sometimes on Extreme Home Makeover.

I did cry during the Passion of the Christ.

I usually like to laugh, so I don't watch other movies.

I did think Father of the Bride was a very sad movie even though it is considered a comedy. Just put yourself in Steve Martin's place and see how you feel.

Legends of the Fall - the holy sh*t scene where Tristan's wife is killed by a ricochet.

Big Fish - throughout this flick, it just resonated with me.

October Sky - ending when Dad sets off the rocket.

Catwoman - was just sad I pissed $20 away for me and my gf to see it :)

Animal House, you know the part where they started throwing food, I don't know, can't explain it, but it really got to me :buffing:

As a matter of fact, I think I'm starting to tear up just thinking about it. I'll be back in a while........................

Ladder 49. Near the end where the main character tells Travolta not to send anyone in for him.

Yeah, ladder 49 was a little tough. Especially for anyone in the public safety field.
