any better ideas

more experienced will chime in but for sure you can use poorboys ex-p sealant. After it cures for 12 hours you can do another thin coat to insure optimum coverage or just put on the fuzion.

-after the poorboys white diamond, yes

-476s, yes

pretty sure you could use just about anything under the fuzion. You may have some bonding issues if you try to put a sealant on top of wax and some glazes. Although some same company products work with each other, such as wolfgang glaze, then sealant, then wax if wanted too

Why the yellow pad? They are very aggressive and leave a mess to be cleaned up. I don't recommend using it. There are plenty of other options that will give you better results. Post some pics of the paint surface and we can make some other recommendations for you.

Why do you need a base for Fuzion? After you are done polishing, do a Prepsol/IPA wipe down to ensure the paint is free of all the polishing oils, etc. and then apply the Fuzion. It doesn't need a "base" product underneath it and in most situations, another product would just compromise it's durability.

I think you should try it at least once by itself. I used it for the first time the other day and after polishing I went straight to the fuzion (I know I should have done an IPA wipe down to get a truly bare surface). I also didn't want anything else on there so I can see what kind of durability fuzion has. Try it at least once bare, if you have already then disregard this post, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Thank You Guys ...

Im sorry I said yellow ... but I had In mind Orange ....

But I will post pics anyway's maybe white will be good enough :)

I wouldn't get too caught up in what base (or even wax) you use. You probably already know this, but prep is 90%+ of the work. Have fun trying different waxes and seeing what different looks that they have.

BTW, SSR is a good line of polishes. SSR2.5 has decent cut but breaks down well, and SSR1 has decent cut but finishes very well. Enjoy!

If you meant orange, then that should work just fine. As mentioned before, I wouldn't bother with a "base". Your base should just be clean, polished paint.

Let us know how you make out.

I thought Wolfgang's glaze is actually a microfine finishing polish, and not a glaze as we normally think of it. So it doesn't actually leave anything behind but just polishes out fine swirls. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

It does not need a base. As long that you have polished your ok. Fuzion is a great wax and will give a awesome finish.

I'm going to try and use Fuzion tomorrow if it doesn't rain again. lol

I've used as a base under Souveran "pink moose wax" and it looked great. I want to try something else, but I need to remove Zaino first.

I was thinking about using P21S paint cleanser and then a glaze like RMG before applying Fuzion. Will I be wasting my time applying RMG, and is it even needed?

Which would you suggest? Paint cleanser, then the LSP, or Paint cleanser, RMG, then LSP.

I know some may suggest other products, but these are the ones I have and need to use up. :chuckle:

Thanks.

I have used Fuzion on bare IPA wiped down paint and with Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion and I must say the PPCL made Fuzion pop even more. Sorry no 50/50 shots, but here's an after.

That looks good. :bigups

I'm just wondering if using RMG after a paint cleanser is a waste of time. I could always go back with the pink moose wax, before Fuzion. I guess the pink moose wax combo would remove the Zaino?

Wolfgang Paintwork Enhancer is supposed to be a good cleaner/base for DGPS, might be good for Fuzion as well.
