Bare Bones Zaino???

I think the Z-2 is a key component. My barebones kit was Z2, Z5, Z6, and Z7. The extras I added where Z-12 and Z-14.
I would
1. ABC
2. Clay while ABC, most likely during step B.
3. SMR
4. Dawn
5. Zaino Z5 + ZFX with Z6 between coats
6. Clean everything up
7. Put on the shades, grab a cold brew and relax.
Ml320 (Clay, PPCL, dawn, ZFX+Z2 with Z6 between the two coats)
The Zaino definately showed the real color of the paint. The NuFinish on there from a few months ago made the paint a darker tint. After Zaino is sparkled with a lighter shade/real color of the paint.
Follow up June 15....

I am a new Zaino user and I must say that while I did get a beautiful shine with Meguiar's, I had to work my butt off to get it. I get just as nice (if not nicer) a shine with Zaino and it's about half the work. My friend whom I borrowed it from got sick when he saw me pull up in my Black Acura CL-S 
Could someone please expand on Z-1? I thought you only use it once and then that's it, but now I just read that you should use it every six coats. Nowhere on the Zaino website did I see anything about that. Do I have to strip off what I have already done? Please help!

Z1 is just a pre-cleaner and polish lok. If not using ZFX for initial coat of Z2 or Z5 one must first apply a layer of Z1. Sal states that after 8-10 subsequent coats of Z2/5 the surface should be re-prepped with a layer of Z1 on top of existing polish. This application aids in proper cross-linking of the next 8-10 coats of polish. Some, like myself, apply Z1 after 5-7 coats prior to using ZFX.

NO! If you are using ZFX there is no limit to the number of coats that you can apply. No Z1 is ever necessary if using ZFX. The only exception I can see is if you run out of ZFX ( unlikely) that after 8-10 coats of unfortified (ZFX'd) Z2 or Z5 you should either apply Z1 or get some more ZFX before the 11th application.
