Banned from Autopia

Term...

Are you going to post this on every detailing forum. I tried to help you out on AG when I saw your post. As I stated I looked into your profile and your are not banned.

My guess is that you had the same IP addy as a SPAMMER who was banned. You were not banned and are still in good standing on the forum.

You might want to think about holding off before you go out posting all over the place that "I HAVE BEEN BANNED ON AUTOPIA".... :out:

I only posted on TID and Autogeek. I refrained from posting on Mother's, Poorboy's, MOL, DetailCity and Detailing world. Those happen to be other detailing forums I'm in good standing with. I only posted in these two in hopes of figuring out why I was banned, not to start an Autopia hatefest.

Your explanation of why I was banned is fine and dandy, but Autopia did nothing to solve the problem it created for me. How else was I supposed to figure out the problem? I tried contacting the administrator, but it was not accepting my "IP address."

I am not computer-savvy. Had I not posted on these TWO forums, I'd still be in the dark with my situation at Autopia. I appreciate you trying to help me out, but if I had not posted here or at AG, would you have known my problem. Did anybody at Autopia know about my problem? As it turned out a fellow member at Autogeek told me what I needed to do to fix it. If you think there was better way for me to have approached the problem, I'm all ears.

Come on guys.....

I really want this to be a drama free board, so please respect that by exercising your better judgement. If you can't exercise better judgment then I will send Kevin Brown (I'm sure you have seen his pictures on the thread) after you.

I had a similar IP address as a suspected spammer and my IP address was banned.

I e-mailed TID admin and they corrected the problem. Closing lines of communication IMO is pointless. A spammer will not write an e-mail to ask why a forum has banned his/her IP address

That's just what we told you Jon

It's nice to know I would actually have a viable option if the same thing were to happen to me here. In any case, it's water under the bridge a this point.
BACK TO DETAILING!!!
