I have actully two problems and ihink finally I found a place that can my questions. First, I have really water spots espeacialy around the windshield ( you know from the wipers). Second, I have these little black spots all over the car but mostly on the wheels and lower part of car. I tired it seems about everything to these spots off. There driving me NUTZ can some one help please?

Ya I've tired clay and it didn't work. People also told me to use minerial water and vinegar, but I'm holding off because I wanted the best i can get before I start rubbing chemicals all over my car

Sounds like you want to clay your paint and then lightly polish it. The black spots should go away. It might be rail dust, tar or some other contaminant.

The water spots on your windshield can be tackled with a good glass polish. You may want to use a a machine if they are stubborn....might take a lot of rubbing.

Hope this helps.

I had the same problem with the water spots on the windshield. I tried clay, and it didn't work. I tried Meguiar's Scratch-X, and it works. Recently, I ordered DP Glass Restorer from autogeek.net, and let me say, this product is amazing. It took them right out. I highly recommend it. If you don't want to buy off the internet, you can get Nu Glass from Duragloss at Carquest.

I`ve had great luck with 3M Dark Paint Swirl Remover for cleaning up plastic haze, and removing stubborn water spots. You need to clean the surface once your done so you don't leave any residue behind but it works great and leaves the surface slick :)

Ive got a Mustang Ive worked on with similar problems. Unfortunately nothing short of wetsanding helped this vehicle. Every time I'd think I got the water spots out, they'd pop back up in a few weeks. Ended up wetsanding the whole vehicle.
