Bad Scratch

I got this van from my dad a few months ago and i have been slowly been working on bringing back the paint on this 01' with 190000 miles on it. Somewhere along the line my dad put a bad scratch in the paint and i would really like to do anything i can to make it look better. Any suggesions would be appriciated. I added some pictures of the rest of the van to show you what it looks like. I am fairly new to this and owe everything I know to DC

Just from looking at it i would say that its too deep for buffing, wetsanding could make it look a little better. I could be wrong but from your photos that is my opinion. Best bet would be to have that area touched up.

You can see in the first shot that the scratch has gone down to the metal.
You might be able to reduce the appearance of the scratch but you will need to either touch that up youself or take it to a shop to have them refinish the area.
