bad paint damage pics

there is a front shot, you can see how the paint looks more dull on the right side.

Besides the gouge and the fading paint area on the bumper, the rear bumper is actually not that bad, it need the swirls taken out like the rest of the car though. Those white line reflections are from the lines in the parking lot. I am thinking I should order all my stuff (see many pics and questions thread in the beginer area) which includes SSR 2.5, SSR1 and VM but no pc. I will clay and get rid of the swirls as much as I can, then I think I will touch up the areas that I can I have about 4-5 scraches that need it such as the gas tank one which it the worst "scrach"

What do you think about the wheel wells also? :eek:
 
Touch up paint never really looks good, you can spend hours trying to level it and make it match and it never really will. It's like a trouble spot highlighter. If you have access to a rotary or pc, you should attack the bumper with some #83 and follow that with Meg's #82.
 
I have dacp and sfp, but I am thinking about returning them for SSR 2.5 and SSR1 because i have heard they break down better by hand which is all I have right now. After I do my first detail I may get a pc. i think I will just have to live with most of those damage areas.
