Bad News about Wayne - Keep Him in Your Thoughts

Quote:MessageI just received word that Wayne, of Wayne's Towels was seriously injured at work this week, and that he's ok, but will be in the hospital for at least a week or two. For those who don't know, Wayne works as a painter for the military, and apparently a heavy protective grate from an Army tank fell from its support and landed on him.

What's ironic is that he called to ask me to let everyone know that he'll be slow in filling orders for the next week or two. He's going to try to get someone to take over the duties, but asks that everyone bear with him while he recovers in the hospital. (I can't believe he's even thinking about his towel orders, given what just happened... Sorry to say, but I'd forget all about my detailing info duties if I were in his shoes...) :-)

So, PLEASE, keep Wayne in your thoughts as he recovers from this accident, and let's all wish him a fast, comfortable and complete recovery. And, if you're planning to order towels from him in the next few weeks, please be patient - he'll get you taken care of as quickly as possible.

Thanks,

Steve

Sorry to hear that. Hope it doesnt knock his income down while he is recovering. I will wait a few days and make an order with a note that there is no hurry to ship. I hate to hear about guys like that getting hurt. He was always very helpful on the board.

Back in the old country the men in my family were all painters and a few died on the job.

I sent him an email. He replied and said he is at home recovering. Nice guy and great business. I wish him the best and a very speedy recovery.

I don't get to read in here as much as I would like and had missed the thread about the unfortunate incident with Wayne.

Where is he located? If it was remotely close, I would offer to go help him fill orders.

Wishing him a speedy and full recovery!:up
