Just kinda been sitting around on these before photos for a while, I really had to hustle the night before haloween to get it done. Anyhow, I actually just shot the after pictures weeks after the detail, but its dark out and has been for a good bit (been stormy).

The car started out in decent condition, had PLENTY of nicks, scratches and other problems. It also had some really funky stains all over the car, the hood, and fender skirts both:

And oh yeah, this little ouchy :sosad

I started out by just washing it up, and claying the entire car. It wasn't that bad as it had been sitting in storage for quite some time. After the claying process I went ahead and got some touch up paint for this particular white, and went to town touching up what seemed like thousands of rock chips etc. After letting all of those cure over night I hit them all with 1200 grit sand paper and then went over the entire car with #85 to get rid of all of the sanding marks, oxidation and other blemishes. #85 left some pretty nasty marring so I went back over it with #80 and them hit it back with VM. My lsp was SG, followed by signature.

I need to get a pic of my cadillac crest, but I sanded and buffed the turn signal lenses and the crest both.

And that nasty little ouchy I messed with too, after a bit of work with the body hammer and some filler I was able to try and match the area I worked in. I also did some repair to the roof, but no bef/aft.

It turned out pretty well, I was happy with it at least. Sorry for the terrible pics, I just have limited lighting where I am working at, and its been so nasty out lately I havent had time to pull it out and take some decent pics. I'll work on getting those pics :)

Looks great, seems like you know a little more about body repair and other things than I do. Nice with the purple headlights.

Dang that's alot of white!!! :grinno: Too much paint for me...good thing Porsche don't make any like that!

Nice improvement and alot of work :up

You had me going there with the first pics. I thought it was a Miller-Meteor ambulance conversion. (Ghostbusters ECTO-1) at first until I saw the hearse top. :p
