I'm seriously contemplating a move there sometime in the next couple years. I am tired of midwest winters and not a huge fan of the area I'm in anyway. Just have to get some stuff in order first. I could actually "transfer" to our Orlando shop pretty much any time I want.

the shock factor is only a couple years for most better off just flying here .. that's still quite a few hours of driving ..and then back after the weekend

Join the club. My wife and I have decided to make the move in two years and are already laying out the details and working as much overtime as possible to build up a chunk of change. And hopefully I can get a lot of side details this year and take all that money to throw straight into savings. It's a scary thought because it's outside of a normal persons comfort zone, but commitment and will power will hopefully pay off. At least it better, I committed myself to not buying any detailing stuff unless absolutely necessary until after we move and I have a Connect membership!

night shift in florida is different .. it's warm almost all the time
and even i don't talk about my kids that way .. bawahahahaha :rofl

I just hated night shift, weather was only a small factor in that.
Lol. No human kids for me. 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rats. And to think, the only ones we picked were two of the dogs, one of the cats, and the rats. Found one of the dogs on the side of the road in a storm; sick, abused, and neglected. Took two of the cats from their owner that neglected them and was threatening to take them outside and kill them because he didn't like them.
