Autopia Expansion

RaysWay

Autopia Specialist
Since Autopia-CarCare.com was acquired by Palm Beach Motoring Group in 2011, the website has continued to expand with its own staff of customer service, technical support representatives, FedEx shipping department, and unique product offerings not found at other e-commerce websites under the PBMG corporate umbrella.

This past year Autopia Car Care acquired Autopia.org forums, which was then merged with Autopia Forums to make one of the largest Car Care Forums in the world.

Autopia is now starting 2015 with another leap forward as it acquired 3,500 square feet dedicated to growing Autopia Car Care further into the e-commerce Car Care industry. This company will now expand as it continues to offer you excellent customer service, helpful technical support on products and a wide range of the best car care products in the industry from all over the world!

But first we needed a cool sign to start off our next chapter at Autopia Car Care...

very nice! I know you guys are a warehouse based operation, but I would love to see some of autopia's products offered for sale through local car care/ dept. stores, etc.

OK, I just gotta ask this marketing question:
Was purchasing of the Autopian.org website a result of this supposedly long-planned expansion?
OR
Was the expansion an after-thought and response to the amount of web traffic from the old Autopian.org users coming on board and representing a whole new customer-base to tap into??

(Inquiring minds (AKA, marketing & business planning gurus, of which I am neither) want to know. I am just an inquisitive (AKA "extremely nosy", according to my wife) person)

This is excellent news for everyone involved; from the owner, to the employees, and the customers and forum members. The healthier Autopia becomes, the more it can offer. Well done, Autopia!

I would speculate and state it is capitalizing on a brand. I do not think 3D really took advantage of it. 3D was trying to expand 3D brand not the Autopia brand. The brand is just not detailing centric but auto centric.
