With the deepest honor and thanks I write this thread.

Several years ago when I first joined Autopia.org I thought to myself " man these guys really have something here". I have had a great time learning from others as well as teaching and helping others from Autopia. This place to me is a home away from home. It gives me a chance to stay in touch with fellow detailers, enthusiest and many others who share the same passion that I do. Automotive detailing. Im blessed to have found a career I enjoy and love to do. Autopia has been a huge success for many things in my life. Over the past ten years Autopia.org has been the largest online community for Auto Detailing. While many may try and duplicate the success of this place it won't happen. This past weekend was just 1 example of many on why the success of Autopia will continue.

Event : 10th Year Anniversary of Autopia.org / 3D Care Car Training seminar

First let me say thanks to all the Great people at 3D who made this a huge success! The team of individuals you have at your facility is absolutely amazing! It was nice to meet you all.

Now lets get the fun stuff!

This event was awesome. For those of you who missed it, here is the recap!

It all starts with this this man!

Tunch Goren - Owner of 3D international

Tunch,

First let me say thank you for hosting this event. Your a gentleman who is extremly passionate about this industry! Not many know this, but not only is Tunch the owner, of 3D, but he is also a chemist. Tunch creates all forumlas that go into the wonderfull product line up. How many companies can say that there owner is actually is the man who designs all products. Just a like a great detailer polishing a car, Tunch's mind is constantly running creating some of the world best car care products. I seen this first hand and it was amazing. This gentleman actually cares and isn't in it just for the money like most corporations. I was schocked to here how Tunch actually listens to the end user and is constantly making adjustments to help us out. His goal is to make detailing simple, ands that he does. A prime example of this HD UNO version 3. Many of us had said threw out the growth of HD Uno our dislikes of certain things with the actual product. Tunch listened and revamped it. Not once, but twice. Current version is HD Uno 3. Taking critisizom is hard, this man is a humble, caring man who I'm now proud to call my friend.

Tunch, thanks from the bottom of my heart for all you do. Your hospitality was more the genrious! My friend thanks for caring about this community as much as you do! Your character as a person is simply outstanding. Thanks for being my friend.

Up next is Ben!

Ben is the man behind the scences on Autopia. He is what I would call the brain of Autopia. He is the IT guy for 3D car care. Ben has a tough job. He puts up with all of our crap here on Autopia. If mine isn't enough! I first started chatting with Ben a little while ago and grown to really like this guy. He is funny, whitty, yet serious. He is here so make our surfing days of Autopia as easy and fun as possible. Ben thanks for all your hard work with banners, and such. The amount of time and effort you put into autopia for all of us is greatly respected. Thanks for all the jokes and laughter we had behind the scences! Your a great guy who I am proud to call my friend! I caught this shot of Ben as he was just siiting not paying attention! He will kill me for it, but I love ya Ben!

Up next is the man Behind the company!

Jaun ,

Jaun is the General Manager of 3D. Gentleman don't let this mans good looks fool you. He is all business. When talking with him, This guy gets it done and cares. I had a few breif moments with him. He was a really busy gentleman over the weekend. To control the daily operations the way you do has to be challenging day in and day out. Thanks for all the hard work that you put in. Tunch spoke very highly of the operations that manage, and I was blown away. Im glad I'm not in your shoes. What you do is to much like work. Jaun Thanks for all your hard work to help oraganize this event. It was greatly respected. You did an incredible job. I'm proud to know you and can't wait for us to meet again. I could learn a lot from you.

Up next is Francis!

The breif time that I met this wonderfull woman was nice. She is in charge of the shipping aspect! ( I think ) lol, but one thing for sure she is the nicest person at 3D. So nice in fact that David and I just had to get a picture with her! Francis is was great to meet you.

Wow, glad I wasn't drooling in that pic as well. Barry will get his soon enough.

Gotta say, I love that camera of yours. Point and click, nothing more. Pics are stunning and vibrant.

Was a pleasure meeting you, David, Thomas, and the others from Autopia. Could not be a better bunch of folks. Will have to plan for something like this again in the future.

Will post some pics this week and Videos next week!

Ben

Super nice to meet you all finally after year's of posting here. Thanks for including a picture of me in your reflection post. Anytime you get professionals together for the good of the industry, it's good for the industry and profession!

Hope to do this again!

Hi Barry,

Barry apparently I can not thank you guys enough.

We met for the first time and only spent 2 days but I feels like I have known you forever. I would call this an "UNO friendship":lol

Thanks for your time making this event a big success.

Your friend,

Tunch Goren

Looks like an outstanding event! Hopefully I can make it out to Cali the next time these guys are putting on such a show.

Just out practicing with my new UNO and pad system with my Griots. Van had a lot of circular surface scratches..but not anymore! Only thing I forgot...I had a two year old bottle of POXY (full) so I did not buy any on Sat. It's pretty baked dry so I'll have to get some. The new UNO REALLY wipes off easily...almost as if I wave a towel within a few feet, it just goes away! :)

Will do more testing next week in Coronado, CA. Going there to relax and do an exterior detail.

Rob

Looks like ya'll had a very nice event! Sorry I couldn't make it. It's only a matter of time before 3D becomes "the" most used product line by detailers and weekend warriors alike.

Seems like I managed to avoid the camera! Sweet. It was a great time, good to meet all that attended.

It did look like a goodtime, wanted to see some people there(Barry/Dave/Kevin/Thomas and another detailer I talk with but have never met Daniel from Car Connoissuer. Had a major detail guys I had to start and here are starting pics of the car(Had to take the cash lol).

I’d like to extend a huge thanks to Tunch, Ben, Juan, the entire 3D staff(Frances), Thomas & Barry for bringing in Autopia’s 10th anniversary with great success. Besides Autopia.org being the oldest, most established and knowledge filled detail forum, their owner is one of, if not the, most successful chemical manufactures & distributors in the industry. His facilities and operations are amazing to say the least! Looking forward to the many changes being presented here and can’t wait til SEMA! I know there are professional video/pics that will be posted, but here’s a few that I had a chance to take.

Here’s a video of 1 of the 12(or so) US retail location’s store front that the seminar was held at:

Here a picture of Barry in action doing what he does best (i.e. showboating):

Towards the end of the event, I panned around the event while the Headlight restoration class was being taught. Can't help to laugh at Tunch's witty humor.

Here is a video from Noah Dixon from Wax Plus who was one of the attendees and Autopia member.

Awesome Job Noah!
