Hi David

I have enjoyed the many hours i have spent at this site reading, searching, and discussing ways to improve the look and preservation of my car.

Your idea to start this site 5 years ago is much appreciated and i wish you all the best in the future on this anniversary.

I like the site just as it is, and understand we must go through minor modifications as it grows.

My one suggestion would mirror what some of the other members have already brought up - developing some way to manage the frequent "what is the best wax?", or "how many coats of this or that", the same old questions over and over.

New members deserve to learn the basics, as i was new once and am still far from an expert, but to come on the site after two months and check the latest threads to find the same questions as when i left, leaves me to think we are not progressing or moving to that " new level " one might look for.

I love it here at Autopia and will remain a loyal fan, just you asking for everyone's input shows what a great place this is!

Keep up the Great work.

Cheers!

First of all I think autopia is great because you can talk to REAL people in the forums and no canned responses. Also there is GREAT info on all the stuff David B writes on the site. His ebook is great too. I am also impressed about the support I get at the support email address. It is prompt and has helped me alot!

Some kind of "Beginners forum" would have helped me. Something that has links to all the "all time great posts"...like The Definative PC post. I stumbled around about a week before I started to catch on to the basics. Wasted some goodwill maybe asking simple questions, too. Didn't understand the potential of past posts.:usa

This is what the Autopia University area was intended to be. Unfortunately, the popularity of this forum grew so fast that it is basically the "Main Event".

I will kick your comment around a bit in my head and see if I can come up with a solution.
