Thank you for the kind words Tim. We're glad that fellow car enthusiasts enjoy our work as much as we enjoy doing it.

Simply amazing as always! What adapter are you using with the GG DA to use the Perfect it Backing Plate?

I'm not exactly sure were we got it (was a long time ago), but it's a DA to Rotary adapter. I'm sure several online places still carry them - so look around. I'll see if I can figure it out exactly, and if I do - I'll be sure to post it.

outstanding job on the car and the write up, please continue to do those write ups when u have the time i think we all appreciate them. i saw the autolavish sticker on the car, is that part of marketing and how is it working for you?

Thank you for the comments. Anyone that does them knows that write-ups can be very time consuming, but it's a great way to show off hard work.

We are very, VERY picky when it comes to our name being on anything - especially on cars that we can't prove will be properly taken care of once they leave our hands. This isn't the first time a client asked to have some small tasteful stickers on their car, but its one of the only cars we've allowed it on. The decision came down to the client understanding his car needed a life-style change in how it was cared for, and is purchasing a size-able amount of supplies off of us in the near future to go along with one-on-one instruction on how to properly care for the vehicle's finish.

Thank you - Steven's work surely helps to show off the care the BMW received :)

Holy ****.

Great write up and awesome work!!

Those pics came out great!

LOL - that's pretty much the client's reaction when he saw us putting the final touches on the car.

Hopefully you get the chance to link up with him sometime. Speaking of which, we're still hopefully to get a project done with Deep Gloss Auto Salon ourselves - hope things are well for you!

Looks awsome guys! Nice tag team action! How long did the transformation process take?

Because we had the car for awhile, we spread the workload out, but still took three days with the photoshoot included. This was a 15 hour job, but took nearly 18-20 to get everything done.

I really enjoy reading every write up you guys do! Excellent work!! And some amazing photos aswell!

Well thanks Eddy - we appreciate the kind words and you following some of our work.

Great writeup and that bmw looks wonderful! Crazy that you had to jump into sanding it.

Some of the defects were DDEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. When you start having to give 4+ passes of KBM / BB-KBM, its the time to step it up another notch.

Nice, also interested in that attachment on the DA for the small pad.

Responded, so hopefully it's enough to help. If not, as stated, I'll try to do some looking around for you guys

Excellent work. I have an 09 135i convertible in Jet Black as well and know what a nightmare this paint is to work on and maintain. The sad thing is, after all that work getting the paint perfect, it will essentially be impossible to keep it that way- the paint micromarrs no matter how careful you are washing it and no matter how high quality your wash and dry media are. Hopefully he will be able to avoid the deep stuff from now on though, those first pics make my car look like a showpiece lol.

Excellent write-up, amazing pictures, and great work on paint that seemed like it didn't want to be corrected! Lives up to being the cleanest 135 I've ever seen.

Thanks for the kind words. Crazy thing is - I don't think the effort is in vein. Marring happens and its not nearly as unsightly as swirls. By the time the spider-swirls start to creep back onto the finish - no big deal; nice light polishing to correct. This beauty will look great for awhile - which is always the goal.

Impressive detail, very thorough, the edited pics are also stunning, worthy of being in any car mag or brochure.

Thanks and I agree - the photographer did a great job.

Wow that is some very very very good work. Also big props to the photographer. The grill and license plate pictures are amazing.

One question though...what attachment and backplate/pad combo is this?

http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr220/jacobbunyan/2008 BMW 135i Detail/DSC06692.jpg

Thank you - we purchased the attachment off a guy that got someone to make these in various sizes - so we purchased the 2 inch, 3 inch, and 4 inch attachments. The pad is a 4inch yellow with a 3.5 inch backing plate. Not 100% sure of which manufacturer of each, but they do come in handy.
