first post so hello all :wavey



been looking through the forum for a few weeks and GOD DAMN am i confused! come on here to get some cleaning tips and the amount of different products you can get is unreal (my head hurts from all the reading lol)



anyway got some AG gel today and reading the back says that it can be used on tyre walls ive been looking for something else to use, currently using wynns tyre foam from halfrauds which gives a mattie/slightly shiny finish which is what i like so wondering has anyone used it on there tyres? whats it come out like?

I sometimes use the bumber gel on my tyres. Use a sponge to apply, leave for a few minutes and then buff off the excess. Gives a soft sheen, if that is what you want.



To my mind, it is the cleaning and scrubbing of the tyres before applying a dressing, that is the key.

I have applied it to the wheel wells but not the tire itself. I apply once a month and the shine is still there on the wheel wells. I like AG Super Sheen or AG plastic and rubber cleaner (07B) on the tire itself.



Always surprised that AG does not get much recognition in the US. Their professional and bodyshop lines are top shelf but availability is an issue here. Only one direct importer with i think 4 distributors. Retail range is readily available on internet but is not a great value compared to pro and bodyshop lines.
 
I like too apply this with a sponge allow to dry and then give the trim a coat of vinyl and rubber care works a treat.
