Autoglym

Welcome to the Forum, Sprongs !

I have used Autoglym Interior Shampoo for over a decade and just loved the way it worked and the most pleasant scent it left behind..
Everyone used to sell it, and now I only see it on Amazon.. I have not checked Ebay though..
Good luck with your research..

I`ve tried a few (CanadianTire carries some of their product)
The odour eliminator works very well as does the metal polish (as a medium / finish polish) and I`d buy again without issue.

I`ve tried some of the other items (glass cleaner, leather cleaner, interior detailer) and it`s better than most OTC but there are much better non-OTC options out there for not many bucks more.

+1 for the Autoglym Glass Polish.
Their SRP (Super Resin Polish) was very good also. It`s a sealant that would fill a bit - with multiple layers.

JohnZ3MC- Hey, nice to hear that I`m not the only guy who layers SRP! And some still insist it can`t be done...phooey on `em.

sprongs- Welcome to Autopia!

I currently still use two things from Autoglym:

-Bumper Care- only thing that works OK on the Tahoe`s trashed sidesteps/running boards, only "trim slime" product I use, period
-Super Resin Polish- yeah, even though it stains trim and thus requires a little care. It doesn`t take the place of KAIO or ZAIO but I do still like it

Some of their other stuff was OK, but not special enough to keep in rotation IME.

I tried and tried to like their Glass Polish, but it *NEVER* left my autoglass issue-free. Always some kind of residue/smearing/etc. And goodness knows I tried! Just not Accumulator-proof I guess.

They do make one of the better quality OTC available product lines. SRP is still one of the best AIO`s out there, and the HD wax and extra gloss protection are good products.

Was given a half bottle of the SRP and half bottle of the ELP. Also some of their glass polish. My go to glass polish has been Duragloss Nu-Finish #755. More work then a spray but I liked the results. Was wondering if I should try the SRP, ELP and the glass polish, if it is worth the time and energy.

sprongs- No reason *not* to try the SRP (well, IMO) but be sure to keep it off trim and watch out for the dusting. I`ve never tried their EGP, but rather top the SRP with whatever LSP I use on that vehicle (now almost always FK1000P).

If you want to layer the SRP, wait a day between coats and apply the subsequent ones very gently.

DO NOT expect any correction or aggressive cleaning from the SRP, it`s a bit more aggressive than KAIO but it`s not (IME) in the same league as ZAIO. Don`t use too much product (as I always seem to say about everything).
