Autoglym

I picked up Autoglym at Walmart. Recently I have been using Optimum products. In summary after applying Autoglym this morning I have to say that I have never felt such a slickness on my car after using this. In the past I have used Zaino, NXT 2.0, Wolfgang sealant, Pinnacle Souveran, Mothers Three Step and Zymol but nothing felt like this. It also looks fantastic. Longevity to be determined. I will continue to use optimum products but I will be using this a few times a year.

As I said in another post. Autoglym HD reminds me of a higher priced wax. In terms of the paint staying clean, and also making it easier to wash my vehicle.

This is a very good product. :up

Would that be P21s?:har:

I picked up some SRP and I'm very impressed with it. Very good cleaning ability and leaves the surface feeling very glassy. I would say slick but it's different. Not oily feeling but glassy. I also found it very user friendly. Buffs of very easy and applies very nicely. If you use to much it makes application less friendly but still not a PITA. Buffing off was effortless even when I purposely applies too much to see what would happen

still haven't picked this up!!! My local wally world has it but I been too stingy lately. Is this a good dark color, light color or all arounder? Just asking because I'm about to pick up a nice red vdub next week and right now I have Natty's blue, liquid souveran, C845...few others.

To be honest I haven't used P21s 100% in about a year. While it was one of my best looks to date along with pink moose wax. I didn't leave it on but a week.

This is when I started to collect more products than I could possibly use. :chuckle:

With Autoglym HD, I was referring more to Swissvax, and Zymol waxes. I left HD on for about two weeks, then took it off, and threw on some BFWD.

I'll go back to a carnauba wax as soon as the pollen and other crap gets out of the air.

Glad the SRP is working out for you.

Note that you *might* find you sometimes need better cleaning or some more correction, and in those cases some of the other AIOs like KAIO and ZAIO can work better. But if it'll do the job, SRP is still probably my overall fave.

Did you use it by hand or machine? I've been dong it via Cyclo since forever...

Used it by hand. I wanted something for when the paint needs some cleaning to get more pop but it doesn't need correcting and SRP fills that spot nicely for me. I have Klasse AIO, P21S GEPC, Meguiars Color X, Vanilla Mouse and a few others. These products are all slightly different but fill the same spot in the process for me as pre wax cleaners. Of course if some correction is needed I just skip right over them and go to my FP II and move up from there if need be.

Have not tried this. Thought about it but have so many others to choose from right now I think I'll get things I need more right now.

Accum and Anthony.....What is this SRP you are talking about?

Autoglym Super Resin Polish.

You'll find FPII won't offer any more correction than ColorX or VM. You'll have to get something else for more correction.

Yep, I have FP2 and don't bother using it. Any "cleaner wax" can do the same job and more.

You're saying AG HD Wax is slicker than Zaino, Woflgang and NXT? Sort of amazed, as it's probably one of the least slick-feeling waxes I've used. Zaino definitely blows it away, of course, in my personal experiences. While I like AG HD Wax, slickness is definitely not the thing that has me sold on it. Always amazing how tow people can have completely different results/perception on the same product.

Been using it for years to correct very minor marring and works like a charm. The kind of marring I am referring to is very minor since thats the only kind my cars get. I use FPII with a tan Megs finishing pad and a PC and cleans it up perfectly and leaves a ready for LSP surface.

I realize it has no more cut than the pre wax cleaners I mentioned but it's what I use by machine. The others I use by hand when just a cleaning is needed. I start with FP II if some correction is needed because I start with the least aggressive method first and work up from there.

Don't bother using it? You can't be serious. It's the best finishing polish I have ever used. I understand it's very mild thats is precisely why I use it. I don't need aggressive stuff for the correction I need to do on my vehicles. I can tell you for certain "any cleaner wax" will not finish out like FP II. It might have the same level cut but there is more to a polish than cut.

:wow::wow:

I agree...FPII is my favourite finishing polish. It may not correct any more than the other products you mentioned, but the finish will be much better. :up
