Autoglym SRP and FMJ on Phantom Black S4

It was good to finally meet you face to face. I hope you had fun at our NWQ gtg. Take care, be safe and come back home with all your men.

Thank god for men like you.

Is autoglym SRP an AIO product or does it need to be topped with a sealant? Heard some really good things about the Autoglym SRP. Did your Audi have any swirls or light scratches before you applied the Autoglym? If it did how did it look after?

It's an AIO and used by itself it lasts longer for me than Klasse AIO does. If you apply a second layer (ooops, make that "a second application" ;) ) after ~24 hours, and do it *very* gently, you can get the protection to last longer than one single application will. Heh heh, I hesitate to mention "layering" because of all the cleaners (and the mild abrasives in the SRP but if you do it right the second application really does make for a boost in durability. I've been flamed for saying this before ("you can't layer cleaner products!"), but seeing is believing.

I myself always top SRP with a carnauba, but that's just me.

how long do you need for it to cure if you are going to top it with a spray sealant? I love Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett Trigger and would want to top the SRP with it

a few shots of the car last night in my drive way.

There was not much light left.

simple wash and wax with 50/50

I don't really know, but I'd guess the longer the better. The folks at AutoGlym say you need to wait 24 hours between applications of SRP, but I forget what they say about topping with their sealant.

You know, I had the opportunity to meet Grouse and throw a layer of 50/50 on the car and it realy looked great!!! Grouse is a true conesouier of auto detailing so it was a true please to meet him.
