Autoglym at Pep Boys 20% Coupon

If this were any other place than Pep Boys, someone would have already called this spam. :)

i hear that they will be having different online coupons all the time now. Probably will have Meguiars, SCG and others....

I'm just surprised there was no lead up into something else is all. I'm sure we all appreciate the gesture of sharing the coupon, it's just that some of us have seen our fair share of hit-and-run type spammers.

Yea I was disappointed in the lack of spam skills, I mean we've had much better:D

Seriously, what works for you guys? I am a weekend detailer on my own cars only but i hear about these deals through a group of friends. Do you guys like to hear about these deals? They are un-announced in the stores, the only way to get the deal is from the online coupon. There was a lot of noise about Autoglym being available in the US so i thought it would be worthwhile to let everyone know what i knew.
 
The HD Wax is pretty good stuff. I think you're misunderstanding where I was coming from with my original post. Either that or you're not as familiar with detailing forums and spammers/shills as I am (or think I like to be).

As long as you're passing on good info and not getting kick backs (i.e. you're not a Pep Boys manager or something trying to drive traffic into your stores) noting at all is wrong with what you're doing.

It's just that generally, when someone comes in on their first post hyping a particular product and posting a link away from the site it just seems suspicious. Hope my original comment didn't rub you the wrong way.
 
I agree with JP...your first and only posts where to talk about Pepboys and these promotions. Everyone here that posts would like to save money or try new products at a discount.

It might have been easier to swallow had you introduced yourself in the new members area. Then said that you can get these online deals.

I agree whole heartedly.. there have been alot of shills in the not so long span ive been a member of these boards.. and they are usually taken care of.. but if you are joining just to let us know about the deals and you plan to post more.. i welcome you.. if not well... :horse::horse:
