I like OCW as well, but I dont find that it hides as well as

Auto Magic Hydro shine. Maybe because I still have the original formula?

AM Hydro Shine is my all time favorite. Not too sure how it would work as a QD? Every try it that way?

I don't know if they still do it, but as pledge has been mentioned - autoglym have in the past made a auto version in areasol.

I never bothered with it at the time as it was only classed as a temp shine / fix, but it may be just what you are after ... I think they may have even called it 'show shine' or similar ?

Either an amazing overspray removal specialist with a heart of gold, an obvious classical education and upbringing, amazing polishing skills and true humility....or just an overspray guy with hack polishing technique, a loud mouth, huge ego and no class. I can never remember which.:nixweiss

Ok, just did a search on this guy (shoulda done this a while ago). Seems kinda smarmy, but then again, I guess he can afford to be if he's the only game in town.

Incidentally, we used similar techniques in overspray removal when my dad had his body shop. Not by choice mind you, but when some doofus decides to paint some yellow school buses in a shop full of unprotected, in-progress, or, near completion work, desperation can get the best of one, and then out come the razor blades, the paint thinners, the compunds, and of course, the glaze. It took us a few weeks plus to get all that crap off the cars, the walls, the office, and the tools. It was a miracle that we managed to get all the cars out on time and at spec.

Good times, I tell ya :grrr

Ive only tried the way you guys suggested; wash car, rinse, spray on the hydroshine, and basically use it as a drying/ waxing step. As thick as it is, I dont think it could be used as a qd. Maybe if there was some safe way to thin it out.......
