I'm in the process of starting an LLC and thinking about having the name of "Southern Shine Auto Detailing" What you guys think? Its not in use in my state and I have it claimed, but give me some feedback. I'm in a country/ rural based community and the majority of persons in southern Indiana are rural.

I like it, it's simple and caters to your clientele

For those of us further south, I would have guessed Southern Shine was below the Mason-Dixon Line but sound like a good name depending on your business. Did you consider names like Hoosier Shine???

What is your typical customer: wash/wax, correction, high end?

If you are high end, you may want to consider a more "elite" name.

Being in neighboring Southern Illinois, I can say that its about as Southern around here than anywhere Ive been. The laungue, the culture, everything is the same. Its not uncommon at all for a business to include it in their name. Heartland is another term thats used in everything.

Yeah, I was thinking it would deter the "upper middle class" and higher away. I love the sound of it and the way it flows. I just have this feeling it may not be the true direction I am wanting to go, which is the best around and who knows maybe one day have a full shop with a few employees.
