Has anyone ever used this stuff ? I work for a dealership so I stopped by a local products supplier for Auto Armor and Car Brite.

Well, we got talking so he gave me a free sample of Auto Armor Paint Sealant. I tried to resaerch to see if anyone else has ever used the stuff. But I turned up nothing.

He states it has no cleaners and gave me enough to do test 8-10 cars out to see how it works..

Any ideas?

Several friends of mine have had this done so in 1996, I had it done to a new car. The place that applied it locally did a great job, and the car looked terrific. They supplied me with their shampoo and a bottle of Auto-Armor sealant to use during the year. They like to have you come in for an annual reapplication for $75. It held up well, but I probably used their sealant every 60 days so it wasn't a real test on my car. Two friends of mine that have a body shop hate the stuff. It is not only a PIA to remove before doing any painting, the stuff will migrate to other vehicles in the shop while you are working with it. It causes fish-eyes in the paint which could very well indicate some silicone. When they work on a vehicle with the treatment on it, they put it in quarantine and it is kept in an entirely different area. They won't allow the Auto Armor people to come in the shop. If the customer wants the repair Auto Armored, he has to take the car to the Armor All dealers to have it done.

I guess I enjoy taking care of my car myself too much to ever have it done again.

I watched when they were applying the stuff to my car and the final buff with a rotary and a foam pad brought out a shine that was absolutely beautiful. The guy doing it said the heat from the final buff was what really set it off.

Sorry writing a book.:)
