Audi S4, Lexus ES300, Gold Wing, Mark LT

I feel your pain on that S4. On a PC the only combo I've gotten to work is OHC w/ a yellow cutting pad. Hazes like hell, but once polished out it's the only process that gives me results.

ScottWax- Nice work per usual :D

IMO that wasn't all that long to spend on the Audi, all things considered. But yeah, I bet you're more inclined than ever to up the power a bit after that. Still leaning towards the Cyclo as opposed to the rotary huh? I can see the point about having two DAs when you have help and, well, you know how I am about the Cyclos.

Oh, and considering the way you go about things, you won't really need to do much practicing with the rotary before you work on nice stuff with it ;)

Beautiful work! I hope you got paid well on that S4...3 hours just for polishing!!

Yes, but I didn't charge as much as I would have if I could have removed the rest of the swirls. The trunk lid was absolutely horrible.

mrecktid-I'd only bust out a rotary if it was something a PC couldn't handle or handle in a reasonable amount of time. Most of the cars I do aren't too bad.

het scott have had my cyclo for about 5yrs now and only had to change the brushes in the motor once

i also love it for glaze`s and sealents :xyxthumbs

I know what you mean by the hard clear. On this one I used Menzerna IP via Rotary with a white pad and then FP via rotary with a white pad. Under the grit the paint was not that bad but it was a bear to work on even with the rotary (I don't mean to hi-jack your thread Scott)

I have a question about the DACP step.

Did you need to use the DACP between OHC and OP or could you have jumped from OHC to OP. I have an audi and I am thinking about buying some OHC for my heavy polish.

I have OP right now and I love the results on my hard audi paint.

duke-the paint still needed a bit more heavy polishing so I went with DACP first. I wanted to start stepping down at that point but not too far.

Damn Audi paint! I experience this daily! It took me Menz Intensive and a green edge to take out super light buffer swirls!
