Thanks Jeff ! I don't know what's become of the A6 yet, as I've not visited that customer since then. He's bought a new X6 since then and the "Storm Trooper" has come out of his winter pajamas now, so we've got some detailing to do soon.

That is a great story Jesse. You have to love customers like that. They use their own brand of terminology, they have their own standards of perfection, and you seem to be th only guy that can understand them. You feel a little nervous during the first seconds or minutes upon delivery and then they either smile big or shake your hand and you're their best friend...the son they wish they had...etc. Love your work man.

Nah, ever did get into the digital imaging thing And the deer-incident-repair paintwork didn't turn out all that great, even after multiple redos :grrr



Actually, IMO the coolest pics I ever took of that car were right after the incident, when it was still damaged, but clean and sporting my field-expedient repairs. Other drivers (presumably people who've seen "Ronin") sure get out of your way when you come up behind them at speed in a wrecked S8 :chuckle: If I ever *do* post pics of it, those are the ones I'd like to put up.
