Aston Vantage, yours for only $130K!

Ya, I don't know. AM Vantage is MSRP $110k, 911T is $127k. Both are basically two seaters (I guess the Turbo has 4 but come on); the AM has no rear seats at all. M6 is 99k (so as close to AM and AM is to 911T), but it has 4 usable seats.

In terms of power the M6 blows the doors of the AM. I haven't had either on a track (I wish!), so I can't speak to handling. :)

In terms of styling, well...AM all the way.

Very nice work in correcting the finish! Nice to see someone with talant correct whatever these cheezy dealerships do to high-end cars. Damn that pisses me off! These finishes are one fine finish, soft, but fine as all hell.

As for the car itself, very nice as well and was looking at these too. But in the long run, wanted a true drivers sport car that has a high win rate at GT events.

It depends on what you want. Vantage cars are very sexy. Porsche is not as sexy, but a very accomplished and proven winner in GT series. Also, a real great car to drive and experience. I drove a Vantage, but find the steering a bit numb and heavy. Power band is good, but still not as quck and sharp.

If I had waited, I'd have ordered the GT3 or if I really wanted the perfect street/track car, the new GT3-RS is arriving soon. Now that's a sick-*** car for street! Mostly used for track work but that's one great thing about Porsche. It's a car you can drive to the track, run it, and drive it home!

Still, I'd love to have one of those in my garage as a daily driver!:2thumbs:

Deanski

I absolutely love your photos, top notch work! Have you ever had a chance to work on one of the Bentleys I see driving around Toronto?

(I picked up some tins of #16 at the eShine sale too, and absolutely love it.)

Deanksi, imo, you made the right choice! No question your car would be my pick in that price range.

Thanks. :)

I have worked on one Bentley CGT, but I only did a new car prep on it (wash, clay, seal), so not many good pics. Only one I really have that is interesting is this:

That is some seriously outstanding work! Great pictures too. I love the reflections.

I have driven just about everything, and am not really that impressed with the Vantage. An M6 would absolutely blow the doors off an Aston. They are very nice cars, but I don't really don't think they are woth the money. For $130K I would much rather have a 911T or an M6.

Keep up the good work! :goodjob

Daddy want!

Beautiful work as always! I need to get some more 106FF, very useful on black G35s and Porsches, and apparently, Aston Martins. ;)
