Asking for more advice on a Black Boxster...

First, thanks for everyone's advice on my cars swirls marks after my previous post. DACP did a great job. Used a very basic RO buffer and took them right off. Then went with AIO and Souveran.

The car looks pretty darn good, but under a halogen work light it still shows some hazing and fine marring. Also some fine scrathces in sunlight.

I know better than to think that a black car will ever look perfect, but I'd like to get it closer than it is.

I just received a PC from Coastaltool and pads from CMA, so I'm ready to go full bore to get a better finish (I hope).

I've read about "stepping down" to finer abrasive products to achieve a mirror finish. I still want to finish with AIO/SG, and then Souveran.

I guess my question is what product(s) to go to before these to achieve such a finish. Would something like GEPC be enough, or should I do something more aggressive even before that?

My only other concern is not using too many things on the paint and somehow causing damage. Everything I've mentioned is pretty safe, right? Any advice or opinions would be great. Thanks!

I'll be Meguiars Swirl Free Polish would work great on any minor surface marring and hazing that may have been left behind by DACP. You will need to then follow with AIO again and top with Souveran if you intend to stick with those two products.

I'm unfamilar with the Meg's Swirl Free but I'm betting 3m PI III MG after the DACP would eliminate left over marring as well. before applying the AIO and Souveran. If you have the SG, you might get even more shine by applying it after the AIO, letting it cure and then topping with the Souveran.
