This is not the buck ninty nine Rally wax that I remember but hey, as has been mentioned, there are free refills. I'm not aware of a more expensive product than the Rally Wax but would love to see someone come up with one that was.

Hey!! So NOW we know what Accumulator is doing for a living,:rofl
One or two applications per year, and the rest of the time he's posting (ALOT!) on this forum.
How do I get on this list of "approved detailers"??

Use to use Liquid Glass and DuPont's Rain Dance in the 70's. To say the truth, these and Meg's were the only one's I saw in my local auto parts store in those days.

RainDance wasn't (?isn't?) bad as cleaner-waxes go. I've posted before about how my fave Aunt switched to that after her health issues put an end to the M07+M16 combo.

Liquid glass, that brings me back. My dad was a painter back when I was a kid and he always had a can in the cabinet. I remember him using it with the cloth diapers, that were actually mine  I actually used the stuff on my Oldsmobile, Neon, and old Frontier. I did always get good results. As a dummy I used old white 100% cotton t-shirts to wipe it off.

That's all we had back then

Eh, there were good cotton towels available though, some were even made in the USA too! Remember Cannon/Fieldcrest? When I was a kid, I too used better towels on the cars than I did on myself.

Keeping single stage black reasonably marring-free was an incredible challenge...got the whole Black Car thing out of my system.

Agreed !!!

Wow, those 'vette guys are as hot for LG as the Camaro guys on the Camaro5 Forum are for Adam's Polishes. I don't even bother voicing an opinion to them. Ron: it's a good thing you had your flame-proof undies on, you might have been sizzled, just imagine the looks you would have gotten if you'd been there in person.

I remember asking for cloth diapers for Christmas and my birthday and keeping a fresh damp one in the car to wipe off water spots from water that had come out of the hidden spots after a short drive (I even kept one rolled up inside my gas filler door to catch drops of gasoline when I refueled so it wouldn't get on the paint).

Don- Heh heh, I still have way too many cotton diapers left over from those days! Seems like they really wear like iron..
