Arnold Schwarzenegger's Detailer

My wife just saw a clip on Arnie, had his detailer on, the detailer said he is very expensive, and charges the Terminator 100,000 a year:eek: I need to cater to the star's lol. The only star's here in redneck heaven, are the king of the wing eating contest at Hooters, named Bubba.

Arnold has a lot of big toys so I am sure his detailer is very busy.

Now if only I could get hold of Mark Cuban, Jerry Jones or Tom Hicks and see if they need any detailing done!

I could go down to Chanhassen, MN and see if the little purple guy needs any cars detailed!

right now you are like: Who or what is the little purple guy!?!

The artist formerly known as Prince!

Or I could go knock on The Body's door....he lives about 4 or 5 miles from me!

I read that Arnold has NINE HUMMERS, along with assorted other vehicles for his private use, according to his whim for the day.

A total of 17 cars in his fleet. I'm sure his detailer is very busy. And well worth $100,000 to Arnold!

Exactly. Arnold's detailer gets paid what it is worth to Arnold to have nice clean toys to drive around in.

I'd love to be a detailer to Jerry Seinfeld or Jay Leno.

Or Reggie Jackson...before the fire at his warehouse of course. He used to have some really nice musclecars.

I saw that on TV. The detailer commented that he used 100%cotton diapers or cloths - not towels or MF. Although he did use Camel hair (or somthing) brushes to clean the vents.

Hey Scottwax, Reggie bought alot of his cars before the fire from a local used car dealer and collector here. This man used to trade for this muscle cars for pennies in the late 70's and early 80's because of the gas prices so high. Ive seen some of his vehicles, some are original, some restored. At one time, he had so many in his warehouse, if you opened the car door you hit another car they were packed so tight. Big Chevy freak, chevelles , nova, camaro's, etc. He has a vega, cant remember the year, metallic green, still has plastic protectors on the seats and the window stickers, 800 miles.

A Vega? Yikes! Unless it's a Cosworth Twin-Cam, but even then I'll pass. The Vega earned the distinction as the only car to ever rust on the showroom floor!

I saw that on TV too. I figured anyone here who saw it would notice the 100% cotton comments. I think he was wiping a Hummer with a diaper. I figure anyone here who saw it would be screaming. For $100,000 a year you think he'd keep up with the times. Maybe it's job security, he swirls them, then he takes the swirls out.

Yeah I saw that on Vh1. (did i just admit i watch vh1) Wish they would have shown his products. he did say he uses Gucci make up brushes to clean with.

Yeah, the prices were pretty low even on collectibles in the late 70's/early 80's. In 1981, I had a chance to buy a numbers matching, freshly restored 1970 LS-6 454 Chevelle with an M22 4 speed (rockcrusher) and 4.11s with posi for $4100! It even had a new paint job! Unfortunately, I was a poor college student and didn't have that kind of money to blow...but if I would have known by the end of the 80's the car would have been worth close to $50,000, I would have found someway to get the money.

I'm aspiring to be Hugh Hefner's detailer, even though I have no idea what kind of cars he has.

I wonder if Arnold's detailer works for him exclusively? 17 cars to maintain would be a full time job for me. For $100,000/year, I'd learn to handle it.

Everyone knows about Jay Leno's collection, but what kind of garage does Seinfeld have?

Seinfeld has a large collection of Porsches. I also saw that he bought a building in Manhatten and had it converted into a private parking garage (complete with elevator) just to house part of his collection. Must be nice.
