armor all "extreme tire shine"

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
in the red can. new from them. tried it today. kind of like their tire foam, but a step up. acuu nozzle so the application is more on the tire and not the wheel. left a excellant gloss.

I picked some of this up because I had a coupon and it came with 6 months of motor trend. I would be interested to know how long this lasts. It's been either cold or raining for about four months now and I haven't gotten to try it out. I understand that it's very shiny but I've been looking for a tire shine that can stand up to the rain and this might do it.

A high resin content PDMS ( "safe" milk-like in appearance) dressing like Zaino Z 16 ( I know of personally)and (?) Adams VRT cream ought to provide you decent longevity in rain without all those nasty side effects I described above.

VRT is water-based. I was actually looking for a replacement tire dressing because VRT, while it looks AMAZING, will not last long in a rainy environment. I will probably start using it again on my personal cars during the summer, but during the spring I get less than a week out of it.

Ah, ok, I' ll stand by my recommendation of the Z-16 only then. Another very important note : to have the best results with both longevity and looks, the tires need to be cleaned real well first before applying

I would definitely agree to that. When I bought my car in 2002 the tire dressing that the dealer put on lasted like 3 weeks. I was so amazed I was gonna ask them what they used, but I didn't. I realized afterwards that it was because the tire was new and clean that it lasted that long otherwise it wouldn't have.
