I Hate to have to call you out on this but you wont find that car ANYWHERE. The 350cid (not cc) wasnt even around back then. The 350 didnt come out until late 68/69. So it couldnt be original, stock, or well documented, never mind a 100 point resto. I'm not sure they offered a V8 back then, never mind a SS.

The complete explaination of this car's history is that the original engine and drivetrain (less than 15,000 miles) is also in my posession ( re-crated). The point was that this vehicle can to made back to original. The original owner converted to V8 (350ci) power in '82 when initially performing 100 point restoration. Everything else ( interior, body panels, paint, wheels, tires, etc is to stock specs ( suspension modified to match increase engine/drivetrain weight). Became trailer queen show car. Sold to me in '89 with all crated original parts at nowhere near amount offered.
Rather than hijack this thread ( which has seemed to have occurred) I gave an example how a vehicle can increase in value. The point of this thread is that one never knows what a vehicle will draw from the market place ( someone who really desires a specific vehicle). Would many people offer this kind of money for this peculiar vehicle? No. How much is it worth to drive a visual sleeper like this in a straight line....priceless.

I figured with as many gearheads on this board, practically everyone would know that '63 Novas only came with 4 and 6 cylinder engines and the 350 wasn't introduced until 1967.

What car are you talking about? If you mean the Nova, it couldn't have been since you could only get a 4 or 6. Did I miss another car?
Geekysteve-I know just what you mean about the musclecar market. I had the chance in 1981 to buy an original, all numbers matching LS-6 454 Chevelle SS with an M-22 Rockcrusher 4 speed and 4.11 posi rear end for only.......$4100! Unfortunately, as a poor college student, I didn't have an extra $500 let alone 8 times that amount. It still hurts....
