Are you guys using too much Zaino? (Long)

I think you are getting smearing for the same reasons that you cant apply moer than 3 coats of Zaino at once.....the surface is too slick.......

Your panel is never really exposed to the elements and is degrading slowly. I am sure this is the case behind your smearing.

Do another test....tie the panel to your front bumper and take it for a ride at 80 mph on the free way to create some wind abrasion.....I am sure the next coat of zaino will not smear........LOL

hope this helps

what about the other question...as far as how much....if any..Z is taken off with Z6....i know most of the time i Qd about an hr after the wash...to be sure i got all the water off...would i be removing more Z2 say than if i let it cure for 24 hrs...just curious??..............

BTW....DK...230am...what the heck are u doin up this late!!:p :D

Last night I fell asleep after the gym and dinner at around 9 pm.....woke up at 2:30 and couldn't sleep the rest of the night. I guess that is what happens when you train yourself on only 5 hours of sleep....

Anyhow, I doubt Z6 removes any Z2, if anything it "helps" the system. For the record, I usually don't use it just after a detail with Z2.....I wait for the next wash.

What does Sal say about multiple coats and Z6?What color is the car?Just wandering this is my next plan when I get my ZFX 3 coats of Z5 just wanted to know how it turned out. Thanks

It is white. I am very happy with the results. I only use Z5 now. Works great at covering up small scratches and swirls, contains no abrasives, and since I have a daily driver parked outdoors all year 24/7, I have decided to just use Z5.

There may be a difference in shine between Z2 and Z5, but Z5 is fine for me.

Not sure about your question, "What does Sal say about multiple coats and Z6?"

You should Z6 between coats and after your last coat.
